Diego PérezParticipantHi!
If you have ngrok’s paid version then the tunnel links are permanent, at least that’s what they say, I don’t have the paid version so can’r verify it.Also in both Ethical Hacking and Social Engineering course Zaid showed how to set port forwarding rules in the router, so just follow the instructions and set port forwarding rules for port 80. Remember you need a wireless adapter attached to kali and connected to the router.
And follow the instructions to clone a website using webscrappbook (this is showed in the Social Engineering course) and put all the files in the html directory so they are showed when reaching apache server.Greetings!

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Are you sure you are using the latest custom kali image provided by Zaid? It’s important!Did you add the card to the USB list as shown in lecture 11? If you did, then make sure that you don’t physically connect the card to the computer until Kali is fully booted, connect the card, then go to the devices menu (beside the file menu) >> USB >> Click your device.
If you’ve already done the above, then please try the following suggestions:– Experiment with connecting the adapter before and after Kali fully loads, and after you log in as root.
– Experiment with setting the adapter to use USB 2 and USB 3 in VirtualBox’s USB settings.
– Make sure you connect the adapter directly to the computer, don’t use a hub or an extension.
– And experiment with connecting the adapter to different USB ports.Greetings!

ParticipantHello Zaid,
I purchased the above captioned Adapter and attempted to install in on Kali but keep getting this error message…”failed to attach the USB device Realtek Semiconductor Corp. to the virtual machine”
I installed the drivers in Kali and attached it as shown in your video but still unable to get it working.
I have Kali installed as a virtual machine in Virtualbox on a Windows 10 host.
Any guidance will be appreciated.

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
To make a wireless adpter to work you need to install the drivers needed in the template you want to use the adapter with, check this article:
https://qubes-os.discourse.group/t/problem-attaching-atheros-usb-wifi-to-sys-net-in-qubes-4-03/475/2
It is meant for an atheros chipset but the main procedure is the same.
I personally use the built-in wifi card and spoof the mac address, as I’m not doing anything illegal and darkweb is not frobidden in my country that’s enough for me.
Greetings!

ParticipantHi Diego,
What about QubesOs? Would it work on that. I have alfa awus036ach adapter that I recently bought. In order to access deep web, you people use the secured TAILS or QUBES, right? Whhich adapter do you use?
Ahmed.

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Not all wireless adapters will work on TAILS, if you have plugged it and it’s not recognized then maybe it won’t work. You can check for supported adapters here:

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Do you mean that kali freezes after changing wireless adapter mac address? Or are those separate issues?
It looks like your kali is freezing in general, isn’t it?Which VirtualBox version are you using?
Can you tell me more details about your OS?(RAM, free disk space, processor, etc)
Thanks!

ParticipantHey!
Yes I downloaded the latest custom version of kali image by Zaid. I have a problem when i change my mac address and the screen just gets stuck. After that when i carry out aircrack-ng, it gets stuck. My wireless adapter is also new.

Please helpFebruary 16, 2021 at 6:07 pm #52112In reply to: Mana-Toolkit
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
You can use bettercap, no matter if the wireless adapter is in AP mode, you can set it to sniff from eth0, which is providing internet connection, as showed in the previous lectures, just avoid starting the arp.spoof module. So only net.probe, net.sniff and hstshijack are needed.Greetings!

PierpaoloParticipantok, only when I use mana toolkit, it doesn’t make me use bettercap, because rightly, the wifi adapter is in AP mode, how can I use bettercap using mana-toolkit too?
good bye Pierpaolo

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
The easiest is to have 2 different adapters to target each band because any adapter will work better if it targets 1 band at a time. What you can do is create several virtual wireless interfaces from wlan0, and run each one of them against a separate band, keep in mind there’s a very HIGH chance of this failing but you can try it anyway, so first do
ifconfig wlan0 down
to disable our interface, then enable monitor mode on it like so
iw wlan0 interface add mon0 type monitor
iw wlan0 interface add mon1 type monitor
This will create 2 new interfaces for you in monitor mode, mon0 and mon1, which you can use in different terminal windows to launch de-auth attacks against different networks.Greetings!
