Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Ok, if you configured it to join your home network (the very first time I mean) then it should be there in the static ip unless that static ip is used by your router for other means. You can enter to the router’s web interface configuration and check if the cactus is connected to it and which ip it has assigned, then use it.Greetings!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Are you sure you are connected to the network created by the cactus?
Let me know.
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Can you share a screenshot of the rowser where we can see the URL used and the result? Thanks!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
You have set a static IP when you configured it to connect to a network. So you have to connect to that same network and go to
http://[the-static-ip]/homeGreetings!

Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Maybe you can use tool like Folder Guard https://www.winability.com/how-to-stop-downloading-from-internet/
Also you can try to look for some antivirus that provides such functionality, just take in mind that this could affect your own work or the apps you are using. In any case a good antivirus will prevent attackers from downloading or executing malicious executables.Greetings!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
I have already answered you on Udemy, you have shared both links there and I told you that I’ll suggest the first adapter.
Please avoid asking the same many times, and keep the questions related to this course in Udemy.Greetings!
Diego

It could be me or any other of the teaching assistants.Greetings!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Cool! Can you ask the question in the course’s Q&A section on Udemy? Thanks!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Are you getting that message from your host or from kali?
In any case that chipset won’t work as expected with kali, I’ll suggest to get one of the recommended ones. You have to do a local research cause availability may vary from country to country but the important thing is the chipset, I recommend anything with an Atheros or RTL8812AU chipset.
Checkout the adapters on the following link, they all support monitor mode and packet injection:
