Just to be clear, Do you mean that you are running VirtualBox in a machine that has kali as main OS? Cause by host machine I meant the machine that you are running VirtualBox from, your main OS.

yes mymain os is kali linux than if i open virtual machine i hhave 3 machines it it
1. windows 10
2. metasploitable
3.kali linux

Ok thanks for the clarification.
This issue it’s weired, and it ca be related to have kali as main OS, actually trying the attack from the main OS may als o have issue. Iwould recommend to use a different OS to use VirtualBox.
Or can you try from main kali OS and see how it works.
