Lateral Movement
What is Lateral Movement?
The technique of moving from one system to another within a network to expand access and control.
After initial access and privilege escalation, attackers or ethical hackers may perform lateral movement to reach valuable assets. It typically involves using stolen credentials, remote desktop protocols, or remote execution tools like PsExec.
