Hello, I am trying to follow the Creating a Remote Keylogger lesson 9.2, but first of all, the github link attached to the lesson for download is for BeeLogger, not ZLogger as Zaid is teaching. Secondly, I cannot activate the Google Account access to apps because I get a message saying that Google no longer allows that permission, and there are no other options shown. What should I do to continue from this point?

And App Password is still working with google accounts. For some reason it is not displayed in Security tab now, so once you are there just go to the top search bar in the web page and type app password, you should see it in the results and click it.

Hello again, I have ZLogger running and creating keylogger.exe file just as Zaid shows. I have generated an App Password in Google and have copied the .exe file to evil-files folder, I have downloaded the file to my target Windows machine in VM and run it… all appears to be exacltly as in the lesson, but when I check GMail – nothing. I have deleted everything and tried again from scratch several times, even trying different email accounts… but still nothing – nothing in Inbox, nothing in Spam folder etc… what do you think is going on here? And is the reason why Zaid placed a download link to BeeLogger because we should be using that instead?

Did you disable defender before running the keylogger?

On which exact lecture did you found Beelogger? Because in the one about the keylogger the link shared is for zlogger, I just checked it.
And the screenshots are not uploading because they are too big.

Hey Diego, the lecture that has the link to BeeLogger is 9.1 – Introduction to Keyloggers. The one BEFORE the lesson that has the ZLogger link. Anyway… I did eventually find and install ZLogger but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Yes i have disabled Windows Defender, and it did download the .exe file to the Windows target machine and I did run it… but there is just nothing showing up in my Gmail. I set it up exactly as shown, I created the App Password in my Google account and copied it to the command line etc., I deleted the whole thing and retried it several times, but even though everything seems to be operating correctly there just isn’t any output being generated with keystrike data, no “reporter” files being sent to my email. I wanted to attach some screenshots but it’s not letting me do it on this website, so maybe I should post it on the Udemy Q&A so you can see them? I wasn’t having any problems posting screenshots before when I was doing the Learn Ethical Hacking From Scratch course on Udemy. Let me know what I should do here to get this working, thank you. Can you share a screenshot with the command used to create the keylogger and the result please? And don’t block or cover any info, I need to see it all. (you can delete the screenshots later if they have any sensitive information)

Hi Diego, I am attaching the Google Drive links to the screenshots – I took everything, showing the commands, the location of the .exe file, the download in the Windows machine (yes, Defender is OFF). Once I double-click the file to run it, nothing happens…. the last screenshot shows that there isn’t a winexpl…Reg_SZ file in the Registry Editor as in Lesson 9.3. Also… what do you think the download link for BeeLogger in Lesson 9.1 is for? Are we supposed to use that one instead?

There is absolutely nothing coming in to my GMail, no reports no logs, nothing. I have checked the Spam folder and I have even experimented sending the output logs to a different email and password… nothing.
What do you think is going on (or NOT going on)?

PS> BTW… in the Lesson 10.2 lecture, Zaid switches from referring to ZLogger, to BeeLogger and shows that file in the video. This all happened without any instruction on how to download it or use it (yes there is a download link for it in Lesson 9.1, but no mention of it, or on what to do with it until now). Should I switch to this keylogger now, or just ignore it? and if yes… how do you install it?

No, there’s no need to use Beelogger, actually I think that link should be removed now, it hasn’t being updated for a long time.
