Hello Diego,
I have a strange issue, suddenly my kali machine is without connection. I have the lab setup as recommended in the course VMware and custom kali, when i run ifconfig it comes without ip adress. The wired icon in the top right corner keep searching for connection. Strange thing is i installed a regular kali image and that has the same issue. But my windows 10 machine has normal connection. Im using Ubuntu as host machine. Any tips a very welcome.
Thank you
Correction all virtual machines without connection.
Hi!
Did you install, update or upgrade anything before the problem started? It could be in a virtual machine or host.
Do you have any antivirus or firewall installed?
Greetings!
Diego
Hey Diego,
There were a few updates that popped up for vmware. I dont have firewall installed, i do have nextdns set up.
Other than than havent upgraded or installed anything.
Hi!
Try by reinstalling VMware again, I mean to download a new VMware installer, install it and test the virtual machine network connection.
Greetings!
Diego
