    Great day Mr Sabih,

I am Stanley, and I would like to learn more about how you investigate the background traffic of a captive portal?

Would you mind if you share a little to me?

I want to learn this because in future if there is any updates of protocol in routers, I am still able to mimic the behavior.

Another question is, when connected to the fake captive portal in my Windows machine, my browser doesn’t pop up automatically.

When I click Firefox, just a top bar was shown saying I need to sign in. There is no showing of the captive portal login page even I click Firefox to start the browser.

Do you have any suggestions to solve this?

Just these 2 questions. Thank you for your help

    1) I would like to learn more about how you investigate the background traffic of a captive portal? – Do you mean you want to sniff all the traffics?

    2) can you try to manually access the captive portal IP from firefox after connecting to the network? does it load or what do you get?
