When I do what zaid does in the networkin hacking continued, I do everything that’s okay, I start the wifi, I see the wifi netowrk, I conenct to it, but when I go to google or anywhere else I don’t see naything, there is no network connection, nothing displays.

wireless network is Alfa network AWUS036NH

I also installed a fresh custom iso, but not working

I am connecting iphone to the fake ap.

And I already imported .ova

I haven’t run upgrade in Custom Kali.

When I do a fake app using hotapd, people can surf it without any problem, but when I do a captive portal like Zaid shows us how to, it doesn’t open, it doesnt open nothing.

I can surf from eth0 in kali linux.

I also have another wireles card that people can see that network I create, but it’s not owrking for surfing.

Kali has internet access using eth0.

The captive portal attack will not provide internet connection, it is just used to steal the credentials, are you being redirected to the login portal once you try to navigate to any site in victim device? First try with http sites as showed in the course.

I’ve tried it with http, https, and the ifconfig does not provide access to Internet.

I just tried again it with http and it worked, I tried it with vulnweb and anohter website it worked.

but in the google or any other site it doesn’t work, why ?

Yes I did that is working fine.

But I do have another problem I don’t know why Diego. When I do for redirecting to web browser, I add the code that Zaid shows but I get this error.

Job for apache2.service failed because the control process exited with error code.

See “systemctl status apache2.service” and “journalctl -xe” for details.
