    Hello,
could you tell me why my aircrack-ng does not show progress in the terminal window while running?
    I run following command:
    $ crunch 6 6 | john –stdin –session=session1 –stdout | aircrack-ng -w – –bssid 44:D9:E7:F4:16:93 BDOCA_wlan/wpa_handshake-04.cap
When i type top command , then i see aicrack-ng, crunch and john are working.

It is running but I can see only this on my terminal screen:
    ———————————————————-
    root@kali:~# crunch 6 6 | john –stdin –session=session1 –stdout | aircrack-ng -w – –bssid 44:D9:E7:F4:16:93 BDOCA_wlan/wpa_handshake-04.cap
Crunch will now generate the following amount of data: 2162410432 bytes
    2062 MB
    2 GB
    0 TB
    0 PB
Crunch will now generate the following number of lines: 308915776
    Opening BDOCA_wlan/wpa_handshake-04.cap
    1 potential targets

    Using default input encoding: UTF-8
Press Ctrl-C to abort, or send SIGUSR1 to john process for status

    Hi Marek!

This same issue has happened to me when using big wordlists, don’t know exactly why but the command is working as the progress is being saved by john and the password will be eventually found. With medium size wordlist it takes a time (like 10 mins) to display aircrack-ng usual output.

Will try to look for the reason of this issue.

    Greetings!
    Diego
