Hey Diego, thanks for getting back…
I am not using the custom Kali, I did when I first started taking courses with you guys, but I wanted to get away from the limits of a virtual environment and set up kali on a dedicated machine… so I did a bare metal install with the correct kali .iso image downloaded from the kali website. I then added extra optional tools that I wanted, and powershell-empire is one of them. However I have been encountering nothing but problems and I just can’t get it to install properly, I tried Starkiller and that doesn’t seem to install properly either (although I can open the graphic gui login page, looks good, but doesn’t recognize the default login and password). Like I said, when I launch the server it seems to work properly and gives mr the message that Unicorn is listening on :1337 but…… I can’t seem to be able to launch the client in the same way as shown in the lesson. I just get a page that lists usage (server, setup) and positional arguments, and h for the help menu – that’s it! Nothing executable.
Can you please help me with some concrete suggestions on how to install powershell-empire properly on my kali machine? All packages are up to date, and I’m on an intel machine.
Ross
