good day sir,

i had problem with hex editor as shown in the video.when i installed it before it installed it hanged first then my eset antivrus i noticed its gone in system tray then i’ve tried to start but can not be started the service disabled and i restarted my pc nothing happend even i restored it eset came back but when i restarted to check if still ok , eset not working again very good malware.so can you help me sir to have clean and working hex editor apps so that i can practice what sir zaid shown in the video.

What hex editor did you download? And where from? It’s not very clear what you said but it seems your antivirus is not working?

actually sir, I downloaded it from nh-nexus.de but the apps is embedded with malwares,even my anti_virus is working and updated. its still got in.can you please give me the clean link of the site to download hex editor.

That’s the site to download the hex editor, why do you say it has malware? Is the hex editor running? Can you try to explain in a clearer way the exact issue please?

good day sir,

i could say its a malware cause i downloaded it once again and i scanned it to virus total 7 antiruses detected it. the hexeditor is editor is running as normal but when i do it thesame way as sir zaid did id in the lecturer the saved edited exe file from hex editorit’s not working that is why i could say it might be the hex editor is no really working as expected.

Ok, I see. It’s normal that this kind of files are flagged as dangerous by some AVs, this tools can be used in post exploitation phase. And if it’s not working it might related to the changes you are doing, you are breaking it. So try to change some other part or try to do the same as Zaid, this is a matter of trial/error until succeed.
