Hey, what is the reason of trying to hide the *.exe file as a *.pdf if in the end the target is asked by Windows if they want to open this *.exe file anyway?

This is just to show a different method, there’s people that doesn’t even read what they got and just press ok, believe me haha
The most effective way is the method in lecture 45 where the trojan doesn’t show any suspicious window that’s for sure.

My understanding is that this is still a *.exe file even if it looks like *.pdf, so why wouldn’t the system recognize it?
Hi!
The system recognize it bu we spoof extension and also change the icon to look like a pdf. But it is configured to run silently, this was done when converting the .bat file to executable.
