Good day,
Can you help me how to installed mitmf in my custom kali v0.13 because it’s missing on custom kali and geany as well I couldn’t installed using command..
Apt update
Apt install geany
It’s just give me an error “unable to locate package geany.Thanks and bstrgds.

There’s no need to install mitmf, it is outdated and wont work as expected. It is not used in any course anymore.
And geany is part of the kali repositories. Make sure kali is properly connected to internet and that the apt update command doesn’t return any error. Then, you should be able to install geany using the apt install geany command.Greetings!

How about thefatrat outdated also?
When I installed it from github repo its version 1.9.0 but in zaid lecture; he using version 1.9.6.
About geany hope will work.Thank you!

Fatrat hasn’t been updated in a while, but it is still working fine. This is because it relies mostly on the metasploit framework, which is likely to be the latest version, among other tools. I checked their GitHub repo, and the latest version is 1.9.8. Maybe you installed an old version by mistake. So, try it again.Greetings!

And about geany sir I cant really instead it on my kali ver13.
I run again the command,
Apt update
Apt install geany but unfortunately it gives thesame error as before.When I run apt update I saw only three lines from zsecurity and last line is 1 package to be upgraded but I didn’t do it because as I know it may break the custom kali right?
So how can I fix this issue on kali so I can proceed and follow the lecture by zaid.?

The latest fatrat version can be downloaded from their github repo:
https://github.com/screetsec/TheFatRatFor this course there’s no need for geany, so just keep going on.
