Kind regards,
Zaid.Zaid SabihParticipantThank you for your confirmation, enjoy the rest of the course!
Zaid SabihParticipantHi,
We have updated the lecture in question. Can you please check and let us know if you’re still having issues?
Zaid SabihParticipantHi Gary,
This issue is now resolved.
Zaid SabihParticipantDo you have an external wireless adapter connected to your computer?
Did you add the card to usb list like shown in lecture 11?
If you did, then make sure that you don’t physically connect the card to the computer until Kali is fully booted, connect the card, then go to the devices menu (beside the file menu) >> USB >> Click your device.
If you’ve done all of the above then can you tell me the model of your wireless adapter please?Zaid SabihParticipantHeu Arthur,
Hahaha, I’m glad you figured it out 🙂Zaid SabihParticipant@PharaohAthem – You’ll have to either contact your ISP and ask for a static IP, or use a service like no-ip.
@Arthur – yeah it works, I just tested it here, if its saying it can’t see the port then the port is not visible, so make sure that you configured port-forwarding properly, and make sure that you actually have that port open, if you are sure you configured everything properly then contact your ISP and see if they allow you to open ports, cause sometimes they require extra fees for that.Zaid SabihParticipantHow did you know the port is closed?? did you check with canyouseeme.org ??
If so then it might be your ISP preventing you from opening the port, please contact them and ask then if they are blocking port forwarding.
