Actualy when we tested the new version, it didn’t work as expected that’s why we suggest to use the older version of scaoy.
Maybe, i would suggest you to get one of the adapters that we recommend cause they work perfectly fine. Please checkout the adapters on the following link, they all support monitor mode and packet injection:

No, the above command is used to enable IP forwarding to prevent packets from being dropped while flowing through kali.
