Hi!
Yeah, that can work too. Just remember you can’t try this against networks you don’t have permission to.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Are you sure you are using the latest custom kali image provided by Zaid? It’s important!
Which scapy version are you using?Let me know.
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Which dictionary are you talking about? Which lecture are you on? Can you elaborate?Did you enable ip forwarding?
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forwardYou need to do it every time you boot kali and want to launch arp spoof script.
Let me know.
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Did you check the link in the Device #1 warning message? Also I’ll recommend to do some basic testing, use hashcat by it’s own with a simple hash and a small wordlist, see if that works. If it doesn’t then there’s some issue with your GPU card and hashcat.
Let me know how it goes!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
You can start apache server and move the dns_spoof script to the html directory, the use any web browser on windows to download the file.
Greetings!

There’s something weird with your network, can you share the settings for topgun network? Also try to create a new NAT Network and left the default ip range, then attach both machines ot it.
Let me know.

Are you sure you are using the latest custom kali image provided by Zaid? It’s important!Sometimes defender detects kali’s repositories as malicious, it will also depend on the repositories you have in the sources.list file, if you are using custom kali and haven’t modified such file then it’s safe to disable defender or any AV and try it again.
Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
No, fatrat is not outdated, it works fine. The tool that has some issues is ApkBackdoor which is used to backdoor APK files. I have tested it with Will Hero and it worked fine, try it. There’s also another tool called Evil-Droid but it use ApkBackdoor as well, for some students it has worked fine.Hope it helps!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
You are using different networks for each machine. You need to attach them to the same NAT Network.Let me know how it goes!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
That can happen becuase you are not using the proper ips or the machines are connected to different networks. Can you show the results of:
ifconfig and route -n in kali
ipconfig in windows
Can you share a screenshot of the Network settings used in VirtualBox for both machines? Thanks!
