Which is your host OS? Where did you get such error? I mean was it when trying to boot from the USB or did you plug it while your main OS was running?
Can you elaborate more?Thanks!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!

DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Unfortunately we haven’t tested it in VMWare and don’t know what would be the correct settings, but experiment with them and also do a google research about them, you might find useful info.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Cool you got it!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Ok, yeah, it’s fine, keep going on.
I also noticed something wrong with the code, the return in code line 15 (according to pastebin file) has an extra indentation, it is inside the for loop and it shouldn’t, it should be at the same level as the for loop, do you understand what I mean?Let me know how it goes!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Ok, but can you answer my other questions? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing, acording to the Network settings averything should work fine, are you able to reach kali’s web servers from windows VM machine?Start apache server with:
service apache2 startThen open any web browser in windows VM and type kali’s ip in address bar, you should see the main web page with the message “It works :)”.
Also can you share your code? Maybe use pastebin.com to share it.
Let me know how it goes!

DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Can you share a screenshot of the Network settings used in VirtualBox for both machines? It would be better if you do it, then we can check that the settings are correct and discard possible errors. Can you share your code please?
Remember to use the code button.
Thanks!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Is your windows VM up and running while scanning? Can you show the results of:
ifconfig and route -n in kali
ipconfig in windows
Can you share a screenshot of the Network settings used in VirtualBox for both machines? Thanks!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
The very first screenshot, the one that saids Warning-could not install some modules…. where did it came from? I mean what did you do to get that message? Are you using kali as virtual machine? Does it has proper internet access? If so then try by disabling defender or any AV in your host system and try it again.
Let me know how it goes!
