Hi!
I already told you that we need to solve one issue at a time but you are still asking about many things at the same time, it will be quicker focusing on 1 issue at a time. So let’s keep working with the previous one. Veil is already installed but can’t use python backdoors, at the end it doesn’t matter because veil will compile executables ready to use no matter which language is used in the payload, so let’s use some of the other payloads but first we need to install windows virtual machine. What’s the problem with it? Can you explain? And I’m in America so yeah, our time zones are quite apart, I’ll try to answer as quicker as I can.
Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
If for some reason you need python backdoors then veil is not an option, as mentioned their developers are the ones who need to fix such issue. In any case for the course there’s no need to use python backdoors, the other languages used by veil will work just fine.
As mentioned earlier we need to solve one issue at a time, you decided to begin with veil. So, as I said before using other languages will be fine, if you need python backdoors for some specific reason then google for an alternative tool (I personally don’t like python for backdoors so can’t really suggest any tool). Or we can keep going on using a different payload language with veil. Also, the screenshots don’t have view permissions, remember to allow it for anyone who has the link.

I don’t get what you mean, can you elaborate?Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Did you try to install Pillow as suggested by the error message?Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Next time please share the link here instead.
Yes, as mentioned earlier veil is already installed, the pefile error will only affect python backdoors, the rest should work as expected, this error should be fixed by veil’s developers. Now follow the instructions as in the course to run it.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
The screenshot where you ran “apt install veil” says that “veil is already the newest version” which means that veil is already installed, have ou tried to run the command “veil”?
And you can upload the screenshots to gdrive and send a link here.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Unfortunately it seems that the screenshots are not being uploaded, try to decrease the size and upload them again. In any case we would need to check 1 issue at a time. What’s the exact problem with the windows virtual machine archive? Can you elaborate?Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Glad you got it!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHI!
It seems you are downloading the wrong version, if you are using windows make sure to follow the instructions as in the windows installation lecture and use the exact same link that Zaid points out.Greetings!

DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
In the listener on reliable_receive function you are missing “json_data” before the + symbol. Compare your code with Zaid’s code and ake sure both are exactly the same.Greetings!
