Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Working from a kali machine might not work as expected, that’s why you are having problems with permissions. It will be easier to use a windows, mac or regular linux OS, try it out.Greetings!

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Veil is not used more in the course so avoid installing it. We are aware of the fatrat issue and we’ll try to find a solution but empire should work. Remove the current kali and download and import a new one, then install empire. Also, avoid running any upgrade command.Greetings!

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
It looks correct but it seems like the executable is crashing somehow. Have you tried to create a github or telegram backdoor? Are they working?Greetings!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Can you share a screenshot of the modified code? Thanks!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
It seems like credentials weren’t changed, you can try to edit the file /etc/beef-xss/config.yaml and set a new password there, then it should start properly.Greetings!

Diego PérezParticipantHi!
In any case try with a new instance, something might be broken in the current one.Greetings!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Do not use start, as mentioned before just call the executable.Greetings!
Diego
Diego PérezParticipantHi!
Just open a command prompt, navigate to the location where you saved the backdoor and run it by calling it.Greetings!
