Hi!
Glad you got it!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
You can only move files, like the caplet or backdoors but the software would need to be installed in the new custom kali.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
I asked for the brand and model of the wireless adapter not the router.
In the screenshots you are trying to run the fakeauth attack and as mentioned in the course it will only work against WEP encrypted networks. In this case follow the attacks mentioned for WPA/WPA2 networks. Also, in one of the screenshots it seems you are a bit far from the router, try to get closer.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Can you tell me the exact model of your adapter?(brand and model)
Can you share a screenshot with the commands used and the results please? Thanks!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Yes the connection will be lost once the computer is shut down. Empire includes some modules that will install a persistent backdoor that will be triggered once the computer is started. So just look for persistence in the modules page and use one of them.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Ok, I answered you there but you didn’t answer back. So check the Discord channel.Greetings!

DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Then try to create the backdoor as root user instead.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
Yes, I know you used root to install but which user did you use to create the backdoor? Is it in kali or root desktop?Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
As you can read in the message The plugin 2500 is deprecated and was replaced with plugin 22000 so replace 2500 with 22000 in the command used to run hashcat, then it should work.Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
According to the output the binary was built successfully, there’s no fatal error. What user did you use to run the script? In which directory were you?Greetings!
DiegoDiego PérezModeratorHi!
