The https downgrade is still working, as any other attack it has its own limitations but it’s definitively working. We can try to debug the issue, just open a new thread.
Yes, Xarp is only available in unofficial website but there’s nothing we can do about it, unfortunately there’s no good alternative for it.

You would need to stop the app using port 80, I don’t know what it is, can you tell?
Or quick solution would be to use a fresh kali instance and avoid running any app that uses port 80.Greetings!

As you can read in the screenshot that price is for the t2.medium instance (BTW, pay attention to the course and you’ll notice that Zaid got the exact same kali info as you, including a price). So, as mentioned before, make sure to follow the instructions as in the course and you’ll be able to get the free tier.Greetings!

What’s the ip range in the Inbound rules? That’s not included in the screenshot. Also, in the results of ss I can see there’s no VNC server running, so make sure to follow all the instructions as mentioned in the course. And as long as your AWS account is not older than 1 year and you are using the same instance as showed by Zaid in the lectures you shouldn’t be charged, you may have selected a big size instance or more storage or something different.Greetings!

Flipper Zero is just another tool, it depends on what you want to do in the cybersecurity field. For website/network penetration testing is not useful.
Also, it’s not a cheap tool so not all students may not be able get one, I don’t think there would be a course about it but thanks for your suggestion.Greetings!

1. As mentioned in the course, after decompressing the downloaded archive of custom kali you’ll get a .vmwarevm file not an ISO, so it’s normal that there’s no ISO, watch the lecture again if you have any doubt.
2. Just launch both machines, each a time and you’ll get them running both.Greetings!

Did you run any upgrade command? I suggest to remove that kali and import a new one, avoid running any upgrade command as it can break kali.Greetings!
