Hello!
after finishing the course I was very interested in installing Qubes Os on one of my machines (Lenovo Legion), however I encountered problems with the installation (blackscreen after the home page) I tried to find out it seems that nvidia graphics cards can create problems and that in general it is relatively complicated to install Qubes if you do not have the right machine,
Are there people who have encountered installation problems like me? And if so, have you managed to solve them?
Thank you in advance for your answers, and thank you for this course which includes all the important things to know and more!
Hi Nosol,
As mentioned in the Qubes lecture, not all computers support it, in fact it is not supported on a large number of computers because it has a number of requirements, here’s a list of all the requirements, compatible hardware….etc
So if the other laptops don’t satisfy these requirements its highly unlikely that it would run.
