    I downloaded vmware from the website on my mac m1 and it opened correctly but I can’t seem to install any virtual machine in there. It gives back the error “failed to power on ‘/users/silassarpong/downloads/hack/kali 2021 x64 customized by zsecurity v1.0.4.vmwarevm/kali 2021 x64 customized by zsecurity v1.0.4 2.vmx'”.

    Hi!

    Unfortunately there’s no way to use VMware or Virtualbox with the M1 chip. The only solution is to use Parallels and the official kali release, check this video:
